How to Set Up a Hyrox Fundraising Event ​

A Hyrox Fundraising Event is a great way to combine fitness and fundraising, encouraging members to take part in physical challenges while raising money for your club.

These events are ideal for engaging participants of all ages, promoting health and wellbeing, and building community spirit.

This guide will walk you through how to:

  • Create a Hyrox Event
  • Set up participant categories (ticket types)
  • Configure team-based entries
  • Publish the event for registration

💪 Why Run a Hyrox Event? ​

Hyrox-style events allow your club to:

  • Raise funds through event registrations
  • Promote fitness and wellbeing
  • Encourage team participation
  • Create an engaging and competitive event atmosphere

Participants typically enter in categories such as:

  • Male Doubles
  • Female Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles

🧭 Navigate to Event Registration ​

To begin setting up your event:

  1. Log in to your Club Admin Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Event Registration
  3. Select Standard Adult Registration

➕ Create the Event ​

Event Name & Description ​

Enter the key details for your event:

  • Event Name – e.g. Club Hyrox Challenge
  • Description – Include:
    • Event format
    • Fitness challenges involved
    • Any requirements for participants

Set Closing Date & Payments ​

  • Choose the closing date and time for registrations
  • Enable contactless payments if required

Click Next once all details are entered.

🎟️ Create Participant Categories (Tickets) ​

On the next screen, you will see a summary of your event.

Scroll down to create ticket types, which represent the different event categories.

Suggested Ticket Types ​

For a Hyrox event, you will typically create:

  • Male Doubles
  • Female Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles

Each ticket represents a team entry into the event.

Configure Each Ticket Type ​

For each category, enter:

  • Ticket Name
    (e.g. Male Doubles)

  • Cost
    Entry fee per team

  • Online Quantity
    Number of teams allowed per category

  • Closing Date
    Deadline for registration

  • Event Time
    Start time for the event

  • Event Location
    Where the event will take place

Group Ticket Setup (Important) ​

✅ Hyrox events are team-based, so:

  • Set Group Ticket = 2 participants

This ensures each ticket represents a pair (doubles team).

Important Notes ​

⚠️ The following options are not required:

  • Allow Multi Scans → Leave unchecked

Add More Categories ​

To create additional categories:

  • Click Add Another Ticket
  • Or use Duplicate Ticket to copy and edit an existing one

Once all categories are created, click Next.

📄 Review the Event ​

You will now see a full event summary, including all categories and details.

Check everything carefully:

  • Event description
  • Categories
  • Pricing
  • Team sizes

🚀 Publish the Event ​

Once you are satisfied:

  1. Click Publish

Your Hyrox event will now be live and open for registration.

👀 Viewing & Registering for the Event ​

Once published, the event will appear on your public club page.

🧾 Registering for the Event ​

Participants can:

  1. Select their category (e.g. Mixed Doubles)
  2. Enter participant details
  3. Complete checkout

Each registration secures a team entry into the event.

Your Hyrox Fundraising Event is now ready for participants.
