How to Set Up a Cardiac Screening Event ​

A Cardiac Screening Event is a valuable way to promote awareness of heart-related conditions and help identify potential issues early.

These events are especially important for members over the age of 40, helping to keep your community safe while encouraging engagement and wellbeing across the club.

This guide will walk you through how to:

  • Create a Cardiac Screening Event
  • Set up time-slot based registrations
  • Publish the event for members to book screenings

❤️ What is a Cardiac Screening Event? ​

Cardiac screening events allow clubs to:

  • Provide preventative health checks for members
  • Raise awareness of heart-related conditions
  • Encourage community care and participation

Each screening is typically booked as an individual time slot, allowing you to manage capacity efficiently.

🧭 Navigate to Event Registration ​

To begin setting up your cardiac screening event:

  1. Log in to your Club Admin Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Event Registration from the left-hand menu

➕ Create the Event ​

Event Name & Description ​

Enter the details of your cardiac screening event:

  • Event Name – e.g. Club Cardiac Screening Day
  • Description – Include key details such as:
    • Who the screening is for
    • What is included
    • Any requirements or instructions

Set Closing Date & Payments ​

  • Select the closing date and time for registrations
  • Enable contactless payments if required

Once completed, click Next.

🕒 Create Screening Time Slots (Tickets) ​

On the next screen, you will see a summary of your event details.

Scroll down to create ticket types, which represent individual screening time slots.

Configure Each Time Slot ​

For each screening slot, enter:

  • Ticket Name
    (e.g. 10:00 AM Screening, 10:15 AM Screening)

  • Cost
    Price per screening

  • Online Quantity
    Number of available spaces for that time slot

  • Closing Date
    Deadline for booking that slot

  • Event Time
    Time of the screening

  • Event Location
    Where the screening will take place

Important Notes ​

⚠️ The following options are not required for cardiac screening events:

  • Allow Multi Scans → Leave unchecked
  • Group Tickets → Not applicable

Add More Time Slots ​

To create additional screening times:

  • Click Add Another Ticket
  • Or use Duplicate Ticket to copy an existing time slot and adjust the time

Once all time slots are created, click Next.

📄 Review the Event ​

You will now see a full summary of your event and all screening slots.

Carefully review:

  • Event details
  • Time slots
  • Pricing
  • Availability

🚀 Publish the Event ​

Once everything has been reviewed and approved:

  1. Click Publish

Your cardiac screening event will now be live and available for booking.

👀 Viewing & Booking a Screening ​

Once published, members can access the event from your public club page.

🧾 Booking a Screening Slot ​

Users will be able to:

  1. View event details
  2. Select their preferred screening time slot
  3. Complete checkout

Each booking secures their place for that specific time.

Your Cardiac Screening Event is now set up and ready for members to book.
