STEP 1 – Go to GoCardless setup page


Browse to the GoCardless signup page at the following link: https://gocardless.com/merchants/new

STEP 2- Enter your details on the signup form


Enter in your email address, name, password and club name on the sign-up form. Then click the ‘Create an account button’


 


STEP 3 – Choose the Dashboard option


Choose the third option ‘Use our online dashboard’ in the list on the screen that asks how you would like to use GoCardless




STEP 4 – Set up your account details


Click the ‘Set Up Your Account’ menu option in the getting started screen. See screenshot below


Click the ‘Verify My Account’ button. See screenshot below



Choose the ‘Standard Package’ option. See screenshot below



Choose the ‘Charity/non-profit’ option in the Business type dropdown. Enter “Amateur Sports Club” in the ‘What does your business do’ question box



Complete the rest of the details requested in the form about the club.


 


Step 5 – Add in branding details


Add in the club name to appear on the members statement and upload the club logo.



Step 6 – Connect the clubs Bank Account


Enter in the bank details of the club account that you would like any funds collected deposited into.



Step 7 – Verify Bank Account


Finally follow the steps requested to verify the clubs bank account.
